26 And when the priests left their labor to impart the word of God unto the people, the people also left their labors to hear the word of God. And when the priest had imparted unto them the word of God they all returned again diligently unto their labors;
(That's just the first half of the verse). For me conference always helps me to remember what is most important and to prioritize my life making the Gospel and words of living prophets and Apostles come first. I am grateful for the example of the priests teaching true doctrine and the people being so willing to stop all of their labors to listen to what they had to say. Also, after General Conference I always have a hard time getting back into the swing of things and doing "real life" again... I just wish that we could all be gathered like that to hear what the Lord has to tell us EVERYDAY. But I love the example of the people in this chapter who realized the importance of returning to their labors after they had heard the word of God. It made me think about what I can do to better take the words from conference and apply them into my everyday lives. I am so grateful that we have a living Prophet on the earth today, President Thomas S. Monson and I know that He truly speaks the word of God. And as we listen to His words (and all the other leaders of the church) then we will find true happiness.
